Close protection & VIP protection is aimed at people who — because of their position, public profile or a specific situation — need personal protective services in a business or private context. It makes sense at exposed appointments (galas, receptions, business trips, appearances), where there is a concrete threat, or when a discreet, calm form of protection is desired. Every assignment starts with an individual needs and threat assessment in a confidential initial conversation. Flow, location, routes and communication are agreed in advance; the standard appearance is understated and, on request, deliberately visible. Discretion, availability and professionalism are central.

The binding total price results from the individual written quote (§ 3a para. 1 PAngV). Travel, night, Sunday and public holiday surcharges and short-notice assignments (under 48 hours lead time) may be charged additionally. As a small business under § 19 UStG no VAT is shown.

Who is close protection suitable for?+
For private individuals, entrepreneurs, executives, celebrities and other exposed persons who need personal protection on a situational or ongoing basis.
When does close protection make sense?+
At exposed appointments (galas, receptions, appearances), in the case of a concrete or abstract threat, during sensitive professional or private phases and on business trips.
Will the close protection be visible?+
By default discreet — appearance, clothing and behaviour are adapted to the occasion. Visible presence only takes place where the situation requires or you explicitly wish it.
Can this be combined with event security?+
Yes. VIP close protection protects a specific person; event security (SEC-002) secures the event as a whole — both services can be combined and coordinated on site.
How does the needs and threat assessment work?+
A confidential initial conversation covers the occasion, flow, location and possible risks. A tailored deployment concept is developed on that basis.
Are short-notice assignments possible?+
Subject to available capacity, yes. Early enquiry is recommended for close protection since preparation, route and site clarification take time. Less than 48 hours lead time may incur a short-notice surcharge.
How is the price calculated?+
Based on the price list (from €45/hour), the duration, location, number of protection officers and any special requirements. Billing is project-based with a binding written quote.
Do I need to provide a vehicle for close protection?+
No. Whether a vehicle is needed depends on the specific assignment. Protection can be provided on foot, using the client's vehicle or — where required and agreed in advance — with an individually planned vehicle solution. In the initial conversation we jointly discuss which solution suits the assignment. Planning always follows the site, flow, duration and individual security requirements.

Are there surcharges for night, Sunday or public holiday assignments?+
Yes. For assignments between 22:00 and 06:00 as well as on Sundays and public holidays a customary industry surcharge applies. The exact amount is transparently disclosed in the written quote before the assignment starts.
How is discretion ensured?+
All assignment information is treated confidentially. Appearance, clothing and communication are tailored to the assignment — from civilian and inconspicuous through to visibly present.

The core area is Alpirsbach, Freudenstadt and the entire Black Forest. Assignments throughout Baden-Württemberg and beyond are possible on request; travel costs are shown transparently in the quote.
